About

Hello there, you might know me as Violincat (or Wannabecatwriter if you’re on Tumblr). I have been playing the Sims 3 since 2013 and have since read plenty of stories written by other players. Then I started writing my own! So, now I’m trying my hand at a challenge created a while ago called Differences in the Family Tree. It is a 15-generation long challenge, and while I can’t guarantee that I will get through the whole thing at all, I will definitely try, because it sounds fun and I love telling stories!

The rules of this challenge can be found here at Angeloffallen’s blog.

I probably will use cheats to some level, along with game mods, because the legacy will be story driven.

Also, even though my founder is male, heirs will be of any gender, so the family name may change through the generations.

Also, this story may at times have situations and language that may not be appropriate for younger readers, so you have been warned.

Now, without further ado, on to the story! Currently on Generation 3.

Meet the Founder!

  1. Hello there, Violincat!

Thank you for following my blog! I’ve never done DIFT challenge myself, but it sounds very intriguing. Maybe one day, if I finish my legacy challenge, I could attempt this one. Fifteen generations are quite a lot though… In the meantime, I’ll follow your story and see how you cope with the challenge. It’s sounds like fun and I like your founder Simon already!

Good luck on your journey 😉

  3. Oh MY! that is quite the challenge and makes my Midnight Sun Challenge look like a baby in comparison! I think I would like something so detailed after doing the wide open challenge I have been doing for 4 years.
